About Nicole Hand

I’ve been working in the charitable, “social profit” sector specializing in fund development, event production, and volunteer management for over 20 years. After graduating from the University of Toronto, I began my career in performing arts and arts education, making the jump to health care in 2006, and more recently focusing on the strength of community services. I maintain my CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) designation and I’m a long-standing member of AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals.)

I like to wear my fundraiser title as a badge of honour and consider it a privilege to work in such an engaged and supportive community. I live by the Platinum Rule “treat others as they wish to be treated” and I feel that Caledon Community Services does just that. Meeting people where they are at, developing relationships and fostering strong partnerships is the key to sustainability and growth of any organization and building bridges is my specialty!

When I’m not busy out in the community volunteering or attending an event, you will likely find me playing my favourite role of “Sports Mom” to my two children, Jackson and Olivia, or planning my next trip south!
