Position Summary:
We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for customers placing orders, requesting quotes, and seeking product information. You’ll work closely with operations, purchasing, and outside sales to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle incoming phone and email inquiries from customers, distributors, and vendors
· Prepare quotes and process sales orders accurately and efficiently
· Provide product recommendations and technical support (training provided)
· Maintain strong knowledge of inventory, lead times, pricing, and product specifications
· Build lasting relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service
· Coordinate with purchasing and production to ensure accurate order fulfillment
· Follow up on quotes and outstanding customer orders
· Assist outside sales reps with customer support and project tracking
· Update CRM and ERP systems with customer and order information

· 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or related experience (preferably in industrial products or manufacturing)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Basic understanding of mechanical or industrial products is a plus (valves, fittings, piping, etc.)
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/CRM systems
· Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solver
· Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
