- Are you a Senior looking for healthcare to improve your standard of living?
Caledon Community Services provides various health services to assist seniors on the path to a healthy lifestyle. The services provided can be broken into 5 main programs:
Assisted Living is a program that allows seniors to receive in-home services from PSWs (Personal Service Workers). The program is only provided to seniors living in one of our six Peel Living Buildings throughout Caledon. Assistance with personal care and practical assistance is provided, which enables seniors to live on their own for as long as possible.
Our Transitional Care Centre helps seniors get back on their feet when an illness or injury occurs. The TCC provides around-the-clock attention for short periods of time, from a few days to a few weeks.
Contact (905) 584-2300 ext. 225 for more information on above 2 services.
Respite care is a referral service that recruits and screens respite workers to provide care to seniors and people with disabilities 18 years of age and over. This program offers the caregiver time away from caregiving responsibilities for a few hours, overnight or for vacation coverage. This is a fee for services programs.
Our Health and Wellness program offers a variety of wellness activities to those 55+. Set to improve overall health, these activities will be offered at the Caledon Specialist Clinic, The Exchange and at several assisted living sites throughout Caledon.
Our Senior Helping Seniors program is a great way for those “young at heart” to meet other older adults in the community, and connect.
Contact (905) 584-2300 ext. 273 for more information the above 3 services.
