Forster’s Book Garden collecting for CCS holiday drive
by Danielle Marr
The team at Forster’s Book garden has started their annual book drive for the holidays in support of Caledon Community Services.
For the fourth year in a row, the Bolton based indie book store is hoping that customers will buy a book, toy, game or puzzle to put in their collection trunk at a 30 per cent discount.
“We have done this for four years now and continue to do so because we really like the way that CCS handles the distribution of these gifts,” said store owner Donna Forster.
The Exchange is set up in a way that parents can ‘shop’ as if it were a store.
“It’s a more personal and dignified approach to distributing donated items to children in need and we are proud to support the efforts of Caledon Community Services to help make Christmas great for all children in our community.”
Forster will drop off all donations collected by Dec. 15 at the latest.
The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m on Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday’s and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays.
